What we collect, and what we do not.

Klarqe is a one-person firm. We collect very little, we do not sell any of it, and you can have it deleted by sending one email. This page says exactly what is held and why.

Before publishing Replace every [BRACKETED] item below with your real details, and have a lawyer read this. It is written to match the promises already made on the site, but it is a draft, not legal advice.

Who is responsible

Klarqe is a trading name of GZMarketing LLC, 5830 E 2nd St Ste 7000 7957, Casper, WY 8260912. For anything on this page, write to hello@klarqe.com.

Under UK and EU data protection law we are the controller for the data described in sections 1 to 3, and a processor for anything we touch inside a client's own systems, which is covered in section 4 and in our Terms.

Analytics uses cookies. If you would rather not be counted, decline in the banner, use your browser's Do Not Track setting, or block cookies for this domain. Nothing on the site stops working if you do.

We do not run advertising pixels, retargeting tags, session recording, heatmaps, or third-party trackers beyond what is listed above.

2. If you book a call or email us

We keep your name, email address, company, website, and anything you choose to write in the booking form or the email itself. It sits in Google Workspace and Cal.com, and in a Google Sheet used as our contact list.

We keep it for as long as it is useful, and no more than 24 months from your last reply. Ask and it goes sooner.

Calls

Sales calls are recorded so we can write accurate notes afterwards. We say so at the start of every call and you can say no, in which case we do not record and nothing else changes. Recordings are deleted within 12 months.

3. If we email you first

We send a small number of researched emails each day to people at companies we think have a specific, demonstrable problem. To do that we hold business contact details, usually a work email address, a name, a job title and a company, taken from public sources and business databases.

Our lawful basis is legitimate interest: business-to-business contact about something relevant to the recipient's job. Every email says who we are, why we are writing, and how to stop. One reply saying "no" is enough, forever, and we keep a suppression list purely so we do not contact you again.

4. If you become a client

This is the part that matters most, because it involves access to systems you own. The rules on the site are the rules here:

We never ask for a password. Access is always delegated. You add hello@klarqe.com as a user on tools you already own, at a permission level you choose, and you remove it in one click.

Read-only wherever read-only will do. Search Console and analytics are view access. Only your website needs edit rights, and only for the pages in a plan you approved.

Nothing goes live unseen. Every page written and every listing submitted is approved by you first.

Your data leaves when you do. Access is revoked the same day you cancel. Your reports remain yours. Our copies are deleted on request.

During the work we hold your company details, the access described above, the data we gather about your category, and the reports we produce. Client records are kept for 7 years after the engagement ends, because tax rules require it, then deleted.

What we learn about your category is never shown to anyone else inside it. We also do not take your direct competitor while we work with you.

5. Payments

Payments run through Stripe. Card details go straight to Stripe and are never seen, handled, or stored by us. We see only the amount, the date, the last four digits, and whether it succeeded. Stripe's own privacy notice governs what they do: stripe.com/privacy.

6. Who else touches your data

WhoWhat for
Google (Workspace, Analytics, Search Console, Drive)Email, documents, analytics, file storage
CloudflareHosting this site, DNS, security
StripePayments
Cal.comCall booking
AI assistants and search engines we queryRunning the checks. We submit category and competitor questions, not your private data.

Some of these are based in the United States, so data may be transferred outside the UK and EEA. Those transfers rely on the providers' Standard Contractual Clauses and equivalent safeguards. We do not sell personal data, and we never will.

7. Your rights

Wherever you are, you can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, send you a copy, or stop using it. If you are in the UK or EU those are formal rights under UK GDPR and GDPR; if you are in California they are rights under the CCPA. We treat every request the same way regardless.

Email hello@klarqe.com. We reply within 30 days, usually the same week, because there is only one of us and it is faster than it sounds.

If you are unhappy with the response, you can complain to your local supervisory authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

8. Security, honestly stated

Two-factor authentication on every account, delegated access only, no shared passwords, and access removed the day an engagement ends. We are a one-person firm, not a bank. We do not claim certifications we do not hold. If there is ever a breach affecting your data we will tell you directly and promptly, and the regulator where required.

9. Changes

If this page changes materially, the date at the top changes and existing clients are emailed. We do not make quiet edits.
